Africa’s Finest cocoyam fufu is a dough ball mix for making the starchy side dish. This grain mix blends cocoyam (a tropical root crop) with cassava and potato granules. Use this mix to make fufu, a staple dish in West African cuisine, and Ghana’s national dish. 

Fufu is a starchy side dish which is served alongside soups and stews. Follow the below instructions to make cocoyam fufu:

  • Use 3/4 cup of water to 1/2 cup of fufu.
  • Place the water into a medium sized pan and add the fufu a little at a time, stirring until your desired thickness is reached.
  • Warm over a medium heat, stirring continuously, for 4-5 minutes until rich and smooth. Ensure the mix is heated thoroughly.
  • Mould the mixture into balls and serve
